What is after death?
Today I attended student-led discussion, and the topic was “what is after death?” We thought that it depends on people’s religion or beliefs. Some people thought that a person’s soul may still exist after he or she had died. In my country, we believe that a dead person can still hear what people say a few hours after he or she had passed away. Also his or her soul will come back in the seventh day after he or she died. Usually, we believe that their souls accompany with us most of the time, and they may bless and protect us when we need it. However, different countries have different beliefs; therefore, the ways people think differs according to their own traditions.

This must have been an interesting discussion. It sounds like it was almost a heated debate as well. I find it interesting that in your culture, people believe that "a dead person can still hear what people say a few hours after he or she passed away". This is my frist time hearing about this situation.
Hi.sharon. We attend the same led discussion that day. You know what? For me, I dom't believe in any religion because I believe in science.Nothing will left except dead bodies. That;s why I did not say anything in the class. I don't need any belief to make me strong. I want truth. It is not necessarily to be strong but feel strong. Everything depends own yourself but not a unknown god from some where. I'll phrahase Thoreau here. "Rather than love, than money, than faith, than fame, than fairness, give me truth" I think people should stay strong without counting on belief..
