student-led discussion
Hallo everyone! Let me introduce you a “little trip” to one of our university life’s activities - student-led discussion. I’m pretty sure that most of us are going to write exactly about the topic “What is after death”. Because I also was one of the many students who attended this discussion grope on Tuesday, March 11, I’m going to write about this event. First of all, i would like to mention that a class was really overcrowded! Around 25 persons joined this discussion. On the one hand, it was a little bit hard for students to give their opinions about the topic because only few people had chance to express themselves; however, on the other had, this debate was great since almost all people came from different countries, and all of them have unique believes which are based on their religions, educations or personal convictions. Obviously, religions became the main factor that divided room into several groups of people who believe in various theories. There were individuals whose religion is Christianity, Moslem or those who don’t believe in anything. Of course, these persons who had chance to speak assumed their opinions as ones that are undoubted. Some people stated that person has a soul which will go to the hell or heaven after his or her death. To this point, everyone will be judged by God on the last day of world’s life according to good or bad done things. This belief was hold by Moslem people as well as Christians; however, not all participators agreed with the fact that heaven or hell is a real thing. Conversely, reincarnation was another theory that was proposed and held by some students. According to this belief, there is no death, but only another form of life flows from previous one. Personally, I think that there is no matter what person believes in because everyone should live accordingly to main humanitarian principles. Moreover, I can say for sure that everything that a person has done will come buck to him or her once. It is universal rule that was established long ago. If you live worthy life doing many good things for other people without hopping to get something in return, you will achieve a little miracle every day, and even impossible wishes may come true some day. Also, I always try to find the most reasonable explanation for any statement. To this point, I believe that person cannot live without faults; as a result, if you do something wrong, you may have a chance to improve yourselves. Therefore, to my mind, there is no death!!! :)

This discussion sounds like one that has been and could be debated without end. At least it seemed to be a chance for everyone to learn about other's cultures even if they don't believe in the same outcome after death. I find it quite interesting to hear about what other cultures different from my own believe. Thanks for sharing this in such detail.
